Smart Seniors is CEDAC’s flagship digital inclusion programme for older adults in Kochi. Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the programme brings seniors together at the Ground Floor, Krishna Bhat Towers, Pullepady Road, Ernakulam for hands-on digital literacy training.
The programme covers practical skills including smartphone usage, WhatsApp and video calling, internet safety, digital payments, accessing government services online, telehealth platforms, and social media. The goal is to reduce digital isolation, enhance independence, and help older adults participate fully in Kerala’s increasingly digital public life.
More than 100 seniors have benefited since the programme’s launch in 2024. The self-funded model demonstrates CEDAC’s commitment to accessible, community-driven digital inclusion. Smart Seniors directly addresses the digital divide faced by older adults and contributes to CEDAC’s broader agenda of age-friendly, inclusive communities.
