GrandCraft: The Blessing Trail is a unique intergenerational reality game where students cannot succeed without meaningful elder participation. Teams of students partner with grandparents, senior neighbours, or respected community elders to complete creative tasks across four thematic rounds.
The four rounds are: Roots and Reminiscence (discovering family heritage and life stories), Skills and Sparks (two-way skill exchange between generations), Kindness Quest (practising service, gratitude, and community responsibility), and Legacy Lane (converting elder wisdom into messages for the future). Evidence is collected through photos, videos, write-ups, and creative artefacts — making impact visible and documentable.
GrandCraft turns values education into action — helping children practise empathy, communication, cultural memory, and social responsibility through real-life interactions with seniors. The game serves as a companion to the Aanandam Happy Schools initiative and contributes to CEDAC’s wider work in intergenerational solidarity and age-friendly communities.
