CEDAC’s Internship Programme offers practical exposure to healthy ageing, geriatric care, dementia-friendly approaches, palliative and long-term care, digital inclusion, climate resilience, and community-led social innovation.

Interns work with mentors, communities, institutions, and local bodies to understand the lived realities of older persons and contribute to practical, scalable solutions. The programme welcomes students from social work, public health, medicine, nursing, allied health sciences, psychology, sociology, management, law, urban planning, design, media, and related fields.

The programme develops practical skills in documentation, survey design, community communication, data collection, programme planning, event support, and report writing — creating a pipeline of young professionals who can contribute to the ageing sector in Kerala and beyond. CEDAC internships convert classroom learning into community action for healthy ageing and age-friendly societies.
